Consumer Beware
Sussex County New Jersey
DID YOU KNOW?
- Only Licensed Master Plumbers are permitted to work on potable water systems in the state of New Jersey – (this includes repairing leaks, installing water heaters, water softeners, faucets, sinks, garbage disposals, etc. Handymen, carpenters, counter top installers, unlicensed bath remodelers are operating ILLEGALLY if they touch your plumbing.
- Any homeowner who has an unlicensed individual work on their plumbing is subject to fines beginning at $2500.00.
- New Jersey requires that the licensed plumber on record for a company owns at least 10% of the company – Most companies claiming to be in business for many years, are really owned by individuals who took over someone else’s business and are counting those years of experience as their own.
- Heine Plumbing had been individually owned and operated for over 25 years – John has been licensed since 1976. Only those specifically trained by John to work to his strict standards are permitted to work in the field servicing our customers.
- Before hiring ANY plumber, check with the Division of Consumer Affairs to make sure he/she is operating under a valid license number. Be wary of the “big box stores” – they don’t carry plumbing licenses and usually just subcontract their work to plumbers who cannot maintain their own businesses. These individuals often work under someone else’s license which is against the law. Again, check their license number!! (CLICK HERE to validate that the plumber you are hiring is licensed)
- We will be here for you when you need us and we stand behind our work. Plumbers who work cheaply cannot afford to stay in business and won’t be there if there is a problem with their work.
