Close to Home was developed to offer ALL contractors the same kind of successful marketing opportunities enjoy with our Around the House program.

Other than the Close to Home name and logo, the program is the same in virtually every regard, including:

  • Article Selection
  • Pricing
  • Custom written articles at no extra charge
  • Two-page and four-page format options

Why Our Newsletters are Different?

Close to Home is not a pure newsletter, and not a pure offer-based direct marketing program. It’s an effective blend of the two…what we call a “news-offer” program.

And that’s precisely why it works as well as it does, i.e., it offers your customers and prospects:

Timely and practical information on the home comfort and safety issues that matter to them the most

  • Coupons they can and WILL use now
  • Quarterly contact from your company, with an open invitation for them to contact you
  • A ready-made vehicle to announce late-breaking manufacturer and utility company rebates, etc….the e-newsletter series is especially well-suited to that task.
  • Most importantly, Close to Home is modeled from a direct mail strategy that produces a consistently high return on investment.

To put the power of this proven newsletter and e-newsletter program to work for you, contact the marketing pros at IMS Advertising today.

Group Pricing… With an Individual Look & Feel.

Close to Home offers you the best of both worlds:

  • The look and feel of a direct response marketing program developed exclusively for your company;
  • The kind of low per-issue pricing you would expect from a program designed for mass participation.

In fact, all you pay for is:

  • Per issue set-up and customization fee for a standard two-page issue: $300.
  • Per issue set-up fee for a custom four-page issue: $1,000.
  • Creative development fees include custom written articles at no extra charge.
  • Printing & mailing costs (see chart below); and,
  • Postage… please note that when paying by credit card, we add a 3% surcharge only to the postage portion of your invoice.

There are a few exceptions:

  • $500 per issue customization fee if you are printing and mailing your own Around the House two-page newsletters;
  • $1,200 per issue customization fee if you are printing and mailing your own Around the House four-page newsletters;
  • $250 additional fee (beyond normal mailing service fees) to merge-purge two or more data files.

By employing pre-sorted standard mail, postage costs average about $.24 per mailer.

Very Important: All direct mail jobs — including but not confined to Around the House — must be paid in full before the job can be mailed. For your convenience, IMS Advertising accepts payments by check and all major credit cards.
