Newsletter & e-Newsletter Samples

A program specifically designed and for the exclusive use by members of the Nexstar Network, Around the House is many things. It has a newsletter and e-newsletter component. Each issue features timely, relevant, and thought-provoking material of consumer interest.

But mostly it’s about producing a high return on investment…and has been doing just since the program first hit the streets 7 years ago. Here are some verifiable facts:

  • For one Nexstar member, service and installation calls from his Around the House mailings produces his company’s highest average ticket…more than $300 higher than the next leading source.
  • For another member, his company recently enjoyed $132,000 in sales from his $8,000 one-year program investment.
  • An east coast Nexstar member received $31 in sales for each $1 of mailing cost from a single issue.
  • And yet another prominent Nexstar member received a 10 to 1 ROI from his very first mailing, and that was after using a competitive newsletter service for the previous four years from which he never did any better than break even.

Around the House may not be a marketing silver bullet, but for several Nexstar members, it’s awfully close.

Group Pricing… With an Individual Look & Feel.

Around the House offers you the best of both worlds:

  • The look and feel of a direct response marketing program developed exclusively for your company;
  • The kind of low per-issue pricing you would expect from a program designed for mass participation.

In fact, all you pay for is:

  • Per issue set-up and customization fee for a standard two-page issue: $300.
  • Per issue set-up fee for a custom four-page issue: $1,000.
  • Creative development fees include custom written articles at no extra charge.
  • Printing & mailing costs (see chart below); and,
  • Postage… please note that when paying by credit card, we add a 3% surcharge only to the postage portion of your invoice.

There are a few exceptions:

  • $500 per issue customization fee if you are printing and mailing your own Around the House two-page newsletters;
  • $1,200 per issue customization fee if you are printing and mailing your own Around the House four-page newsletters;
  • $250 additional fee (beyond normal mailing service fees) to merge-purge two or more data files.

By employing pre-sorted standard mail, postage costs average about $.24 per mailer.

Very Important: All direct mail jobs — including but not confined to Around the House — must be paid in full before the job can be mailed. For your convenience, IMS Advertising accepts payments by check and all major credit cards.
